Lawyer

David Wong is a registered lawyer at the Macau Lawyers Association since 2019. He joins “Vong Hin Fai Lawyers & Private Notary” since 2015 and is currently practicing as a lawyer of the firm. In January 2020, he was granted the qualification of Hong Kong and Macau lawyers by the Department of Justice, Guangdong Province, and is currently Macau lawyer of Renhe QiBang Xianhui (Hengqin) Joint Law Firm. He is also a part-time lecturer of Faculty of Law of the University of Macau and of the Macau Institute of Management, teaching, respectively, International Private Law and Commercial Law and certificate programs.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Macau with Bachelor Degree in Law in 2014, and completed Master Degree in Law at the same Faculty in 2018.

David has extensive experience in various legal fields, especially commercial law, civil law, criminal law, administrative law, family law, inheritance law, and private international law. He has participated in several legal studies programs held by certain department of the Macau government and in court trials as attorney of certain public bureau. He is currently serving as legal advisor for a number of corporations and associations. He also actively participates in the promotion of arbitration and mediation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area being currently arbitrator and accredited mediator of the Macau World Trade Center Arbitration Center, and mediator of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Mediation Center.

His public positions include: member of the Political Consultative Conference of Chancheng District of Foshan city, member of the Shenzhen Youth Federation, and member of the Legal Professional Committee of Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Cooperation, etc.

In terms of social activities, he is currently chairman of governing board of the Macau Legal Exchange and Promotion Association, executive vice-chairman and secretary general of Guangxi Youth Friendship Association of Macau, vice-chairman and legal advisory member of the Macau Association of Jiangmen Youths, vice-chairman of the Shaoguan Chamber of Commerce of Macau, vice-chairman and secretary general of the Guangxi Guigang — Macau Exchange and Promotion Association, member of the Youth Committee of the Macao Chamber of Commerce. He was former president of Student Association of Faculty of Law of University of Macau.
